Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt (+ Printable)

Posted on 04/28/20 by Amanda in Early Childhood

What is more fun than a scavenger hunt? Whether alone or with friends, finding hidden items is exciting. Why else would egg hunts be so popular?

We used dinosaurs here, but you can use any objects you like. Once your child finds all of the hidden dinos, switch it up and let them hide it for you. Use this as an opportunity to play "hot and cold" - help your child find the hiding places by telling them if they're close (hot, warm) or far away (cold). Just another way to enhance verbal skills and abstract thinking!

Be sure to draw pictures of the objects hidden or use our dinosaur printables to create your hiding items and finding sheet!
