Your Gift Makes a Difference
Since 1912 The Music Settlement has brought the arts into the lives of thousands. People of all ages, backgrounds and abilities have benefited from the dedication of our faculty and the excellence of our services. The Music Settlement provides financial assistance, enabling those who otherwise might not be able to afford it, access to quality arts instruction, music therapy services and early childhood programs.
To continue this legacy and to maintain its unique position as a major community resource, The Music Settlement depends upon the generosity and financial support of current students, alumni, friends, foundations and corporations. Your tax-deductible gift can and does make a difference.

Giving Opportunities
The Music Settlement Annual Fund On the threshold of its second century, The Music Settlement continues to serve and grow community through Music Therapy, Music Instruction, and Early Childhood Education. Each year we enrich the lives of thousands of all ages seeking personal growth, healing, and learning through the arts. Gifts to the Annual Fund help to make that possible by providing support for operating costs, scholarships, and financial aid. All donors who give at least $100 this year will be invited to a donor appreciation picnic in the fall of 2013.
The Whittaker Society Howard Whittaker was Director of The Music Settlement from 1948 through 1984. Named in his honor, the Whittaker Society recognizes those individuals who support The Music Settlement with a minimum annual gift of $1,000. Members of the Whittaker Society will receive recognition on The Music Settlement Donor Wall, in Music Settlement publications, and through an invitation to the Chairman's Reception in the fall of 2013. Whittaker Society members who provide annual support at higher levels will enjoy additional recognition as a sponsor of an ensemble, classroom, space or event at The Music Settlement for one year. Through their gifts, Society members will help to secure a promising second century for The Music Settlement by building the endowment. There will be a special annual celebration to honor Almeda Adams Society members, and to remember those no longer with us. To join the Almeda Adams Society, simply click here to complete the form. Thank Your Teacher / Therapist Program
This program is designed to help students, clients and families honor the teachers and therapists who have made a difference in their lives.
